Grace, mercy, and peace to you!
1 Timothy 1:2
As Catholic Christians, we are called to continually grow in our faith. Faith formation is a life-long journey that does not end with confirmation! The Church of St. Timothy offers a variety of opportunities for adult parishioners from 18 to 108 to deepen in our Catholic faith, growing in relationship with God and with one another.
Scroll down to read details about the following opportunities for adults to grow in faith, share prayer, offer service, and build community together as disciples of Jesus.
Using the popular series "The Chosen," these groups will watch an episode, then dive deep into Scripture for further revelation and discussion on the life of Christ.
- The morning group will meet the first and third Mondays of each month, starting September 16, from 10 a.m. until noon.
- The evening group will meet the first and third Mondays of each month, starting September 16, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m.
While it may be helpful to attend each session, participants can join in at any point of the year and come as often as they are available. There will be a small fee to cover the cost of materials and study guides. Contact Cindy Novak in the parish office at cnovak@churchofsttimothy.com for additional information.
The St. Tim's Book Club for Adults is a great way to learn, meet other parishioners, and discuss the intersection of life and faith. The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month from October through May. (Please note that the March gathering will be on Tuesday, since the first Wednesday of the month is Ash Wednesday.) The group meets from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the parish center in October and November, on Zoom December through March, and in the parish center in April and May.

Would you like to learn how to live more justly and what our Catholic faith calls us to do regarding advocating for people suffering injustice? The Racial Justice Study Group will use reading materials, documentaries, and may occasionally be able to attend speaker events. As this group is just forming, times and dates are not set but may likely occur monthly on a Sunday afternoon at an off-campus location AND/OR via an online discussion group.
