Becoming Catholic at the Church of St. Timothy

Are you interested in exploring what it means to live faith as a Catholic Christian? Do you simply want to gain more knowledge of Jesus, the Bible, or Church history? Do you want to discover more ways to prayer and worship God?

If so, you're in the right place. At the Church of St. Timothy, you are welcome to come as you are with your hopes, doubts, questions as you seek a deeper understanding and practice of faith. You can do this at your own pace individualize parts of the experience.
What should I expect?
The process of learning more about becoming Catholic includes
- Individual conversations to assess your needs for formation, your specific interests and inquiry in the faith, and assistance with determining a process that is a fit for you.
- Scheduled group sessions with other inquirers and mentors for faith formation and check-in.
- Involvement in parish community programs, ministries, and activities to strengthen your practice of the Catholic faith.
- Recommendations for personal prayer and additional resources to explore.
Who participates in St. Timothy's journey of becoming Catholic?
St. Timothy's process is for you if you
- Have no previous religious affiliation.
- Have a background in a non-Christian faith.
- Have a Christian but non-Catholic faith background - for example, if you were baptized in a different Christian denomination.
- Were baptized as a baby but did not have additional formation, or only received very limited formation.
- Were raised/instructed in the Catholic faith but did not receive some or all of the sacraments of initiation (baptism, Eucharist, confirmation)
- Want to know more about the Catholic Church but are unsure about becoming a full member.
